Turismo Transport

Hi there
there have been discussions at the DOCSA lately, and we are spreading the word about the Turismo 2008.
We appreciate that just because you ride a Ducati does not mean you are rich, (in fact it can mean quite the opposite). So we are offering billet accommodation here in Adelaide with DOCSA members, as you can imagine there are only a limited number of beds, so we are offering to those who would not be able to make the event due to accommodation costs.
We can also offer secure (bike) garage parking, (once again limited numbers), to those who would like to do a bit of the tourist thing while here, and need somewhere to leave the bike(s).
Also we are looking at a social event on the Wednesday or Thursday night preceding the Turismo. The plan is to get one or two representatives from each of the Ducati clubs, and race them all in a National Ducati indoor kart challenge. (Not for sheep stations, but just for a bit of fun, and ice breaker).

Please find belw the proposed schedule for transportation of motorbikes from Brisbane to Adelaide and Return.

Friday	10^th October 2008	Bikes to be delivered to Brisbane Depot	8:00am -to- 4:00pm
Saturday	11^th October 2008	Bikes to be delivered to Brisbane Depot	9:00am -to- 11:00am
Thursdsy	16^th October 2008	Bikes delivered to nominated depot by your group in Adelaide and at only one delivery point	-
Monday	27^th October 2008	Bikes only will pick up bikes from your nominated address in Adelaide and only at one nominated point.	-
Friday	31^st October 2008	Bikes available for collection by owners b/w	8:00am -to- 4:00pm
Saturday	1^st November 2008	Bikes to be delivered to Brisbane Depot	9:00am -to- 11:00am

Prices include GST and Transit Insurance (see below)

6 bikes	$567.00	per bike each way.
12 bikes	$538.00
18 bikes	$510.00
24 bikes	$482.00
30 bikes	$453.00

Prices are subject to change due to fuel price increase.

Payment to be mad upon delivery to bikes at Brisbane Depot on the 10^th or 11^th of October 2008

Type A insurance:

Fire, flood, collision, and/or overturning of th econveying vehicle. Excess $500.00
Type A - includes in freight cost)

Type B insurance:

Fire, flood, collision, and/or overturning of the conveying vehicle adn also pilferage, non-delivery, oil, freshwater, grease, stain, acid and mud damage by other cargo includes leakage, breakage, bending, denting, chipping and scratching. Excludes fuel, engine and gear box oil, coolant, brake fluid and tyre puctures on your own vehicle.
Excess $500.00
(Type B - 1% of agreed value of Motorcycle)
